Irish Companies can now get a free Ecommerce website
Bang Ecommerce, the new award winning Ecommerce service is offering every business in Ireland a free online shop.
With Bang, any business can setup their own online shop (without any setup or monthly fee) and start selling their products and services online. The business model for Bang is based on charging a small transaction fee of 3%, capped at €50 per month. Over 50 businesses have signed up on www.bang.ie in the first 60 days since it was launched.
Bang includes hundreds of features normally only available on Ecommerce projects costing €10,000 or more. Everything from complete stock control management, easy product uploading and multiple currency options are available. It even includes social networking options with integration to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Bang was soft launched over Christmas 2009 with great success with the Irish charity GOAL using Bang to sell its Christmas gifts online. Bang is a spin-off venture from Lucan based web design firm, Denobi Ltd. The service drew upon Denobi's 7 years experience in developing and maintaining Ecommerce solutions (with a client list that includes organisations such as The Carphone Warehouse). After 12 months of research, development and testing Bang was born. In November 2009 Bang won the "Innovation in IT Award" from Dublin 15 Chamber of Commerce.
Bang add improvements to their service offering each month and clients can also request additional features for their online shop. We then add these requests to our improvements roadmap and make them available to every client with a Bang store.
